Swans Personal Safety Program in Roebourne

Swans Personal Safety (SPS) program is designed to create a deeper understanding of the negative effects of anti-social violence, the trauma that is associated with it and how it’s contributed to an ongoing culture and cycle of intergenerational acceptance of violence. SPS is a de-escalation-based program, where community members have an opportunity to increase their skills and abilities in resolving situations without the use of physical violence.

The Swan Districts Foundation was officially launched at the club’s last home game for the 2022 season where it celebrated 40 years since the first of the club’s three consecutive 1980’s Premierships.

The occasion was marked by the presence of thirty 1980’s Premiership players, staff and Board members, and it kicked off with a bang raising over $25,000 at the pre-game Legends Luncheon.
