Current Opportunities
Early Years Manager
Reporting to the Social Impact Manager (North West), you will take ownership of the Early Years programs in Onslow. We are looking for a person that is passionate about working with young people who can manage and deliver programs focused on fundamental literacy and numeracy through to fundamental movement skills.
This is a hands on role supporting children and parents individually, while also providing support to teachers and school support staff with transitions to kindy and pre-primary.
Our programs focus on:
Fundamental literacy and numeracy, preparing kids for school
Fundamental movement
Fundamental sports and team skills
Social connectivity and resilience
As you can tell, this is more than just your average teaching role. It is a community leadership role, one that is focused on developing relationships with the school, families, employers and other NGO's in the broader community where you have great autonomy to collaborate in order to impact the kids (and their families) in Onslow.

Since 2008, the Swan Districts Football Club’s VSwans program has become an integral part of the Onslow community.
Swans purpose, as an organisation, is to develop people and build community. Football might be in our DNA, but we exist for a deeper purpose. We want to impact people’s lives. Our team being based in Onslow means that we are a part of the community too, not just a service provider, and recognise the challenges of living remotely, and not having access to services that people might have in the city.

Living in Onslow
The coastal outback town of Onslow in the Pilbara region of Western Australia is a little treasure to discover and provides an ideal location to start your adventures in the north west being ideally located between Exmouth and Karratha and close to the wonders of Karajini and the world famous Ningaloo Reef.
