From our home at Steel Blue Oval in Bassendean, we deliver a range of programs for all age groups across Perth’s eastern suburbs.

Supported by our social impact committees, we maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in local and state government, as well as other not-for-profits and community organisations.

  • belonging

The land in which our home in Bassendean sits has been an important meeting and trading place for the Whadjuk Noongar people for tens of thousands of years. We are fully committed to allyship through our school and community programs as well as our “Innovate” Reconciliation Action Plan.

  • INCLUSION

While the Swans name has been synonymous as a WAFL club since 1934, our home in Bassendean is inclusive and welcome to all, providing everyone in our community with a sense of purpose and belonging.

We have expanded from just WAFL and WAFL to wheelchair and all abilities sports, and now looking to other areas where we can impact and bring people together.

  • ACCESS

As a truly inclusive organisation, we provide important access to enteraintment, experiences, resources and specialist services from our home at Steel Blue Oval across many different areas including, health, disability and justice.

Importantly, people in our community feel safe, supported and welcome when they visit us.
